ABOUT OUR LAMB
The farm has a flock of commercial sheep, mainly Scotch Mules and a small flock of Rare Breed Torwen and Torddhu, which are Welsh mountain Badger faced sheep. The ewes lamb naturally outdoors from the beginning of April and lambing lasts for about 5 weeks. Once weaned, our lambs run in large groups and are rotationally grazed so that they have access to good quality grass at all times. Our lambs are not fed any meal concentrates which allows them to grow and develop slowly on grass which in turn gives the meat a sweet, natural taste.
